Your New Puppy:
Will need two stainless or ceramic food dishes. A leash and a
collar. A dog bed. A Snuggle Puppy for use in crate training. A
soft toy and a hard chewy toy. Puppy Chow. Bottled water for the
first week. Canned pumpkin in case of diarrhea from traveling.
Give a tablespoon a few times a day. If diarrhea does not clear
up in 24 hours or seems excessive ...call your vet.

Shots and Wormings:
You puppy will have his first and
second set of puppy shots and two wormings. You should worm
every three months. Puppy will need a Rabies shot at 16 weeks.
Ask your vet about any other vaccinations that are required in
your part of the country. Remember to use heartworm medication
as advised by your Vet. |
